easter

these are all outta order, but blogger is such a PITA to try to rearrange that you'll have to bear with me. sorry.

we celebrated easter at auntie dawn's house. she had some silly hats from the old lady my grandma goes to visit every day. natalia tried on the silly flower hat.

auntie dawn had some easter eggs scattered/hidden in her back yard. first all the kids had to go gather/hunt them and bring them back to the porch. then, the kids each got to pick equal amounts of them from the pile that was gathered. natalia is counting her share....

then comes mason (my cousin, tina's, little boy)...

my beautiful grandma lu. i took one shot of her with a nasty scowl on her face. then i said, "c'mon grandma, look nice for the camera!" so, this was what i got. after this shot, she said, "ok, that's ENOUGH now."

thankfully spring re-arrived for this egg hunt. it had been cold and RAINING about 12 hours prior to this. you never know what you'll get for easter 'round these parts. glad the kids got to enjoy some egg hunting time outside! (and that my aunt didn't have to try to hide this IN her house!)
