she was playing soccer with a group of boys when i arrived. very typical natalia. :)
her teachers, mrs. gilbert and mrs. morrison were wonderful this year. really, her whole class was. they all got along really well. and, two of the little girls were siblings of boys that jameson went to preschool with.
that said, she is SO, SO, SO excited for kindergarten. she wants to have "one more sleep" until kindergarten starts. :) she's SO different from that boy. :) and, i love her dearly for it.
some of you (you know, all 4 of you) might remember that i wrote a letter to jameson as part of his time capsule for a kindergarten project last year. he'll open that time capsule (and the letter) when he graduates HS. i am planning to do a letter for both of the kids at the end of each school year. i'll post more about those later.
also, i saw an idea today that i love. i'm sure their teachers won't love it so much, but oh well! i'm going to get the dr. suess book, "oh the places you'll go". (actually, they're already ordered from amazon.) ;)
then, i'll have each of their teachers sign the book...all the way through HS and give to them as part of their graduation gifts. i love the idea. i hope the teachers will go along with it. i'm pretty sure jameson's teachers (so far) will. and, unfortunately, it's a little too late to do with natalia's preschool teachers...but i hope her elementary school teachers will play along too.
as bittersweet as her finishing preschool is, i'm really looking forward to fall when they're both at the same place and on the same schedule. it will make for everyone feeling more "safe" and for a much easier schedule.
