Natalia turns 5...

On October 10th, 2006, we became a family of four.  Natalia Grace was born at 4:20 pm.  Admittedly, I had hoped for another boy.  We had gotten an inconclusive ultrasound prediction a few months earlier because the little weasel would not stay still enough for the tech to get the money shot.  (Tale of things to come, much?)

Natalia was a very easy baby for exactly 11 days.  On the 12th day, all hell broke loose...and here we are.  Now she's five and she still creates a bit of drama each day.  That's our girl.  She's also very sweet and loving.  She giggles and laughs at the drop of a hat and it's infectious.

One day old.

Five months old.

11.5 months old.

We conducted a little interview today:

Q:  What's your name?

A:  Natalia

Q:  How old are you?

A:  {a little hesitation} Five!

Q:  What is your favorite color?

A:  Pink and red

Q:  Who is your best friend?

A:  Paige and Kambell & Max

Q:  Favorite Animal?

A:  Pony and Horse

Q:  What do you want to be when you grow up?

A:  A princess  (The answer was the same 3 years ago, by the way.  My girl...she's consistent.)

Q:  What are your favorite movies?

A:  Rapunzel (Tangled) and Ariel (Little Mermaid)

Q:  What makes you happy?

A:  Pink, Rapunzel, pink hearts, my bike.

Q:  What makes you sad?

A:  When someone says they don't forgive me.

Q:  What is your favorite food to eat?

A:  Soup.  (HUH?)
